Izotope Rx Elements Audio Restoration

iZotope’s award-winning RX 6 Audio Editor is the industry standard for audio repair, restoration, and enhancement. It offers a comprehensive suite of tools focused on alleviating common to complex audio issues. Post production professionals, audio engineers, and video editors alike use RX to transform problematic recordings into production-ready audio.

Nov 29, 2018 RX 7 Advanced has every RX feature and is where most of the post-production-related tools are found. Below that is RX Standard, which has just about all the tools that could be used for audio repair in music production. At the bottom is RX Elements, which has a much lower price but a much more stripped-down toolset. RX Elements is a budget-friendly version of the RX noise reduction and audio repair tool for small home studios that need the basics. It includes the standalone audio editor and spectral editing so you can visually identify audio problems then use familiar editing tools to fix the issue. RX's noise-reduction modules are mandatory audio-restoration tools for post-production and forensic audio specialists. Look up 'transparent limiting' in the dictionary, and you'll find Ozone's IRC (Intelligent Released Control) technology.

Design Philosophy

The RX 6 Audio Editor is a visual, selection-based editing environment. Most of its user interface is devoted to the Spectrogram/Waveform display, an integral part of the RX editing workflow. The display enables you to refine and visualize your audio, allowing for better recognition and selection of problem areas.
